The Rise and Fall of Boehner

As a little help to someone who doesn’t watch TV news (and still doesn’t have the cable turned on yet), how is John Boehner’s last name supposed to be pronounced?  I’ve got an idea (one which I will childishly remain using), but I was wondering how he pronounced it.  That way, when I’m asked on TV about Boehner’s eventually downfall and disgrace, I’ll know who they’re talking about.
